Terms of Service
NicoVault is a Windows program made by Daniel Sava, private individual, Romania – contact@nicovault.com (“the author”). By using the program you agree to the terms below. NicoVault Disk Cloner has its own terms: Disk Cloner Terms of Service.
1. License
You may use NicoVault on the number of computers of the plan you bought: Personal – 1 PC with Windows 10/11, Pro – 5 PCs with Windows 10/11, Server – 1 Windows Server. The license may not be resold or shared between companies. You can move it from one computer to another at any time (Settings → License → Remove from this computer).
2. Trial
Every computer gets a free 7-day trial with file backup (mirror, copy, versions). Full + incremental, disk images, the recovery USB and Hyper-V backup need a license. After that, new backups stop until you enter a license key. Backups already made remain yours and can be browsed and restored at any time, even without a license.
3. Monthly, yearly, lifetime
Monthly and yearly licenses are valid until the date shown in the program. If not renewed, new backups stop; existing ones stay accessible. A lifetime license is paid once and includes updates for versions 3.x and 4.x.
4. License checks
The program checks the license with the nicovault.com server about once a day and works offline for up to 30 days. The data sent is described in the Privacy policy.
5. Payment
Online payments are processed by an authorized reseller acting as the Merchant of Record, such as Polar or Paddle. Its name is shown at checkout; it collects the payment, handles VAT and issues the invoice. For plans without online payment, the order is sent by e-mail and you receive the payment details in reply. The license key is sent by e-mail once the payment is confirmed.

7. Liability
The author does his best for the program to work correctly, but backup is a shared responsibility: check regularly that your backups can be restored (NicoVault has automatic verification – use it). To the extent permitted by law, the program is provided “as is” and the author's liability is limited to the amount paid for the license. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
8. Governing law
Romanian law applies. For any problem, please write to contact@nicovault.com first – almost everything gets solved that way.

NicoVault este un program pentru Windows făcut de Daniel Sava, persoană fizică, România – contact@nicovault.com („autorul”). Folosind programul, ești de acord cu termenii de mai jos. NicoVault Disk Cloner are termenii lui: Termenii Disk Cloner.
1. Licența
Primești dreptul de a folosi NicoVault pe numărul de calculatoare al planului cumpărat: Personal – 1 PC cu Windows 10/11, Pro – 5 PC-uri cu Windows 10/11, Server – 1 Windows Server. Licența nu se vinde mai departe și nu se împarte între firme. O poți muta oricând de pe un calculator pe altul (Settings → License → Remove from this computer).
2. Perioada de probă
Fiecare calculator are 7 zile de probă gratuită, cu backup-ul de fișiere (oglindă, copiere, versiuni). Full + incremental, imaginea de disc, stick-ul de recuperare și backup-ul Hyper-V cer licență. După aceea, backup-urile noi se opresc până introduci o cheie de licență. Backup-urile deja făcute rămân ale tale și le poți răsfoi și restaura oricând, și fără licență.
3. Lunar, anual, pe viață
Licențele lunare și anuale sunt valabile până la data afișată în program. Dacă nu sunt reînnoite, backup-urile noi se opresc; cele existente rămân accesibile. Licența pe viață se plătește o singură dată și include update-urile versiunilor 3.x și 4.x.
4. Verificarea licenței
Programul verifică licența cu serverul nicovault.com aproximativ o dată pe zi și funcționează fără internet până la 30 de zile. Ce date se trimit e descris în Politica de confidențialitate.
5. Plata
Plata online este procesată de un revânzător autorizat care acționează ca vânzător înregistrat (Merchant of Record), de exemplu Polar sau Paddle. Numele lui apare la plată; el încasează plata, se ocupă de TVA și emite factura. Pentru planurile fără plată online, comanda se trimite pe e-mail și primești detaliile de plată ca răspuns. Cheia de licență se trimite pe e-mail după confirmarea plății.
6. Rambursare
Ai garanție de returnare a banilor în 14 zile de la cumpărare. Detalii în Politica de rambursare.
7. Răspundere
Autorul face tot posibilul ca programul să funcționeze corect, dar backup-ul e o responsabilitate comună: verifică periodic că backup-urile tale se pot restaura (NicoVault are verificare automată – folosește-o). În limitele permise de lege, programul este oferit „ca atare”, iar răspunderea autorului este limitată la suma plătită pentru licență. Nimic din acești termeni nu îți limitează drepturile de consumator prevăzute de lege.
8. Legea aplicabilă
Se aplică legea română. Pentru orice problemă, scrie mai întâi la contact@nicovault.com – aproape totul se rezolvă așa.
